"Communicate with coaches and let them know if you are interested. Ask if they are interested in you as a player. Visit the schools you are interested in to see if its a good fit."

"The most important bit of advise that I can give is to stay positive, start early and don't give up on your dreams! Coaches really look at the sites and they do email and call you, just in their timeline, so don't get discouraged. Also, update your site as often as possible with pictures and blogs. The last thing is that coaches ask other coaches about you so know that someone is always watching you on & off the field. "

"I would tell them to start early in the process, send out emails as early as freshman and sophmore years. It can really help you get noticed early. Also, make phone calls, it may seem very nerveracking at first but it really helps put you on a coaches radar."
