beRecruited Founder Ryan Spoon Sets Pacific
Masters Record in 100 SCM Breaststroke San Jose, California -

Ryan Spoon, founder of beRecruited.com (www.berecruited.com)
and former Duke University swimmer, set the Pacific Masters Swimming Record in
the 100 short-course meters breaststroke with a time of 1:05.84. The former
record was held by Sergey Mariniuk (1:06.74) and was set in 1993.
Ryan Spoon swam the 100 SCM breaststroke at the San Mateo Marlins Pentathlon --
the first meet of the short course meters season. This was Ryan's first
competition since swimming for Duke University in spring of 2003.
The United States Masters national record in
the 100 SCM breaststroke is a 1:05.52 set by Todd Radel in 1996.
Ryan Spoon has been training with the Santa Clara
Swim Club and will be competing in the "Short Course Meters Championship" held
in Walnut Creek, California during October 7-9th.
