"Thanks to beRecruited.com, my son Joey has signed a letter of intent and received a total of $26,000 in scholarships... The recruiting tool generating letters of interest was most helpful!
Thanks again. Purchasing a deluxe account was the best money I spent on Joey's future!"

Team beRecruited.com Basketball Falls to
1-1, Loses to Reigning Champions
San Jose, California - July 25, 2005
Team beRecruited.com met reigning San Jose City
Basketball champions Crunch Time 3 and lost in the closing minutes of the second
half. Playing without highscorer Jeff Park and center Chuck Mihm, Team
beRecruited.com Basketball took the court undermanned and could not find
consistent scoring or rebounding all night long.
The lone bright spot on the team was center Zak Edson, who led beRecruited.com
with 20 pts - many arriving on offensive rebounds. Edson also converted on two
three pointers. Other than Edson, Team beRecruited.com struggled with their
outside shot all night long and was out rebounded by fifteen boards. Last week's
high scorers - Kevin West, Wes Duenow, Ray Richards, and Ryan Spoon - all shot
under 50% and failed to hit a single three point basket.
Still, Team beRecruited.com managed to lead the game by 8 points late in the
first half. Crunch Time 3 quickly charged back behind a duo of sharp-shooting
guards. Down by as many as 12 points in the second half, beRecruited.com came
within 5 points with 1:30 remaining in the game as Ryan Spoon hit a basket while
being fouled. Spoon was unable to close the game to 4 points when he missed his
free throw. That was as close as Team beRecruited.com could come - eventually
losing by 9 points - 59-51.
Team beRecruited.com drops to 1-1. Their next game is two weeks away as they
have a bye week during the week of July 24th.
