Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Rowing has been my life for the past 6 years and I want to continue rowing as long as I can. Rowing in college gives me the opportunity to carry out my favorite activity for 4 more years, creating new teammate coach bonds, and new friendships within the team and school.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I work with my familys event planning business and lead the planning of several events. I often coordinate activities and celebrations with my teammates to strengthen our relationships.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I balance my athletics with my academics. My school is rated is one of the top 50 public schools academically in the country so it is demanding. I take advantage or school tutoring before practice and before school when I need extra help.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer as a rowing camp counselor and school community service events. It is important to me to help others. I also have volunteered at food pantries, soup kitchens, and helping clean tornado sites.
