Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being goal keeper I have one of the best views of the field so I use that advantage to tell my team where they can pass and if there's someone covering them. I also encourage and remind them things they need to do in the field. At school I try to help classmates as much as I can in class and out. I also will take initiative to do things when no one else will.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in FFA at my school. Whenever there is a chance to help out I really try to help before and after practice. I applied to be part of the executive committee, which is someone that speaks at meetings and helps with other activities, and was chosen to be part of it. I think being part of FFA is important because it teaches you to go out of your comfort zone with things like speaking competitions and life skills like how to raise an animal, get a job, or being responsible. FFA also helps out the community with different drives to give to families in need.
