Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My 2 brothers and I started Operation Toy Box in 2010 in Honor of a friend of my moms nephew who was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan October 11, 2010. His name was Frankie Zaehringer. Every year in October we begin our toy drive and by December we deliver the toys to the pediatric units at our 2 local hospitals. Operation Toy Box is very important to me because not only are we honoring USMC Sgt. Frankie Zaehringer III and his sacrifice we are also helping sick children in our community. Operation Toy Box has grown every year and I am proud to say that we collect so many toys now that the hospitals have enough to last them throughout the year. I am also the Deputy Chief of my Church's Columbian Squire program which is an international youth fraternity run by the Knights of Columbus for Catholic boys between the ages of 10 and 18. As the Deputy Chief I run many of the monthly meetings as well as help plan the charitable events we are a part of to include feeding the homeless and working at a food pantries.
