Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I feel that there would be no greater challenge, and for that matter, no greater honor than to be a successful student athlete at the collegiate level. By striving to be a successful student athlete, I will further develop the life skills needed to be a successful contributing member of society.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I do my best to be a person that leads by example both on and off the field. By establishing a consistent and focused work ethic, I try to inspire those around me. By often volunteering for difficult or undesirable tasks, I try to elevate expectations of the group to do what ever it takes to be successful.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My parents have taught me the importance of balance in life. Balance in training, diet, athletics and academic studies help me to me strive to consistently challenge and push my level of achievement in all aspects of my life.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I assist younger student athletes by helping and coaching participants in youth sports organizations that I was part of when I was younger (Hollister Little League and Monterey Bay Youth Football League).. In addition to helping the younger athletes directly, I also volunteer to help set-up and clean-up at youth sports events.
