Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited for soccer in college because I love to play and enjoy having a team environment. I love to run and work hard on the field. I have played on my high school's soccer team the last two years and I enjoyed the opportunity to play for my school, I am looking forward to giving my all for my future college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am an Executive Officer of California Scholarship Federation (CSF) on my school campus. I help plan and organize fundraisers for the program and service projects. On my soccer team, I lead through example by encouraging good performance for my teammates. I always lead the warm up laps and stretching. In addition, I direct my teammates from the defense and communicate on the field.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I go to speed and agility training in order to improve my quickness on and off the ball. I also go to soccer training at TOCA Training Centers to maintain good touches on the ball and continue developing my ball skills. In the spring, I run track at my high school at the varsity level. In addition, I maintain good eating habits. I also go to my club practices twice a week.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a volunteer staff member of a children's club run by teens for 4 to 16 year olds. I make sure the daily activities run effectively and smoothly all day. I also make sure that the environment is welcoming and safe for all participants. This is important to me because it encourages outdoor activity in children and allows them to develop new skills and confidence.
