Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

To be honest; my number one reason for playing soccer in college is basically because I LOVE SOCCER. Soccer is my passion. I love being on the field. It keeps my mind and my body active. I was raised KNOWING I would go to college. College is a must!! I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a Business Major with a minor in Marketing and Finance. I have always been good with numbers and feel that a major in Business would position me well into the future. I strive to be academically high. School is very important to me. I put high expectations to finish at or above a 3.8 GPA every year. For my “future” college coach I promise to be a dynamic player with a positive influence. I currently play an important role on my team and my coach and peers look to me for leadership. I will strive to be an asset to my coach and team, on and off the field. I want to HELP my coach build a SOLID roster. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my collegiate soccer, I will conduct myself with honor working hard academically and athletically. I completely understand that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the college I represent.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My coach and peers look to me for leadership. I represent myself well on and off the field. Because of my work ethics and my obsession with soccer my peers have always looked to me for soccer leadership and a mentor. My coach tells me that I “set the mood” for my team. I lead my team by example by showing up on time; never missing practice nor a game and giving 100% of myself on the field with practice and games. My coach would say that I am very coachable with passion for the game.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My healthy lifestyle was actually mentored to me by my parents. I have very active parents. I keep in shape everyday by eating right and excising. I take organic supplements everyday and when I am not playing or training for soccer I go on power walks or runs with my mom. I still have a personal soccer trainer, plus I also do speed and agility training with a personal trainer.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved with the Junior Lions Club of Modesto, CA. I will continue this community service through high school. I enjoy feeding the hungry, putting on special needs proms, assisting the elderly, cleaning up our community and being a mentor for the younger generation. http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/how-we-serve/youth/leo-club-program.php

I also have volunteered at The Kendall Center for Autistic and Asperger's Children of Modesto, CA. Helped the children with social activities through teaching and learning activities and play.
