Personal Highlights

My name is Madison Thom and I am a 5'5" 115 pounds and a junior competitive swimmer from Upland, California.

I fell in love with swimming at the age of 4 and have been competitively swimming since the age of 8 at my club team. I enjoy the sport as an individual and also as a team player. I am very driven and motivated to work hard and to push my times as well as to encourage my teammates to show improvements. As I continue on with my swimming career, I am willing to put in the effort that will allow my times to continue to drop. I want to pursue swimming in college and am open to opportunities at all divisions. I am looking for a college where I can find a fair balance between the classroom and pool.

Along with being a competitive athlete, I am also a student. My average GPA is a 3.8. I take honors and AP classes during the school year. During these rigorous courses, I am willing to attend as many practices per day throughout the week which shows my balance and dedication to the classroom and the pool.

I am willing and would be grateful to go to a large or small school that is either public or private. I am still undecided on my major. Swimming has created so many amazing opportunities for me and has helped make me the person I am today.I am excited to hopefully get to continue my love for swimming into college.
