Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play field hockey in college because I love being on a team. Being on a team to me, is like being a part of a family. I love having the opportunity to make connections with different people who share the same passion as me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

All throughout middle and high school I have been a student-athlete with a variety of different sports. I learned to time manage so I have enough time for my teammates, my academics, my family and myself. I make sure I am putting 100% into everything I do whether it is on the field or inside the classroom.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at a local shelter for children in crisis and whose parents can no longer take care of them for the time being. Spending time with children who have less than me helps me reflect on how grateful I am to have a supportive family. Making efforts to help others is important to me because I want my career to revolve around helping others and I have always had a passion for it.
