COLLEGE ESPORTS RECRUITING

ESPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS

Esports is a growing sport at the college and NCAA levels and each year 1000’s of players are competing for roster and scholarship opportunities at their schools. The biggest advantage an Esports player can gain over the recruiting competition is to have an online Esports recruiting profile that showcases your playing abilities as well your grades and other academic results. By having an online recruiting profile you will maximize your exposure to the college esports coaches which means getting the most recruiting and scholarship offers you can get.

COLLEGE ESPORTS RECRUITING TIPS

  1. TAKE GREAT VIDEO: Having great videos of you playing is crucial to be recruited by college esports coaches. Be sure to include many great videos on your profile if you have them.
  2. KEEP YOUR PROFILE UP TO DATE: Coaches will view your online profile multiple times. Often time coaches will follow your progress over months before reaching out to you. Be sure to keep your profile up to date with new videos and academic information. Help the coaches recruit you by giving them everything they need to make a great recruiting choice. By keeping your profile up to date it lets college esports coaches know that you’re serious about being recruited.
  3. GET GOOD GRADES: Good grades are an essential piece to be recruited. College coaches want the best players, but they also need players who are strong academically so they can handle the workload of being a student athlete. Plus, before you can play for your college you need to be admitted to that college. Work on your grades as well as your game.
  4. COMMUNICATE OFTEN WITH COACHES: One of the major keys to being recruited is communicating often with college esports coaches. When a coaches reaches out to you be sure to write back or call back right away. This will show the coach how serious you’re about their program and being recruited. Also, it’s perfectly ok for you to reach out to the head coach of your favorite program and introduce yourself.

Now is the time to start your recruiting experience. Create your FREE online profile and keep working on your game!
